Scope of works
What is in
You hold the fire strategy, specification and drawings. We install to them. The quotation is labour and certified materials against the issued design.
Certified materials
Manufacturer-tested systems named on your specification. Product evidence — data sheets, Declarations of Performance, and test / ETA documents — as specified.
To issued details
Penetrations, linear joints and cavity barriers as drawn. Missing details are referred to the design party. We do not invent or substitute details on site.
Scope exclusions
What is out
Exclusions are stated so the subcontract matches the works. Print the IN / OUT page with a quotation if useful.
No design
We do not select systems or approve the fire strategy. Variations that require a new detail are referred to the designer.
No surveys
We do not survey buildings to locate openings. A find-all-penetrations duty is not included in the quotation.
No design duty
The contract states that we carry no design responsibility. We do not hold professional indemnity for design. We do not sign design ancillaries.
Design partner
Design or survey can sit with a partner on a separate contract. The quotation remains for installation only.

BCAR
Handover artefacts
Install-only does not mean an absence of paperwork. It means we do not issue a design certificate. The Assigned Certifier still requires evidence that the installation matches the issued details.
Photo log
Before, during and after. Referenced to seal IDs so the pack can be read against the register.
Seal register
ID, location, system, date, installer. The record used by the O&M file and the Assigned Certifier.
Product file
Data sheets, Declarations of Performance, and fire test / ETA evidence for the systems installed.
Install ancillary
Construction ancillary certificate: installation to issued details only. Not a design ancillary.
